Publishing in English Language Teaching is a demanding and busy arena. I write  new content, as well as providing a full editorial service. I have a clear understanding of all stages of a project, from developing an author’s manuscript in line with the client’s brief, to copy-editing and styling templates, and all proof stages through to production.

My main clients are educational publishers in Oxford and London, producing material for global and country-specific markets. I work on a range of materials including Student Books, Activity Books, Graded Readers, Tests and Teacher’s Books, as well as digital materials.

Over time I’ve seen schedules get tighter and market requirements more exacting. I always try to meet and exceed my clients’ expectations and offer a flexible approach to adapt to different needs. I enjoy the day-to-day contact I have with people in a range of roles, and I value my friendships and professional relationships with other freelancers.

I regularly undertake training and attend industry events to learn about new developments and working practices, and of course to liaise with other experts in this field.
